Rental Regulations - Risk Analysis

Art. 1
The use of bouncy castles is intended for children and must be done under PERMANENT supervision of an adult.

Art. 2
Kids-Emotions cannot be held liable for any accidents during use.

Art. 3
It is the supervising adult (art. 1) who is responsible for evacuating the children and deflating the structure if the wind suddenly picks up (MAX. 5 Beaufort - 38km/h).

Art. 4
The renter agrees not to move the bouncy castle and to keep the blower(s) running for the entire rental period, unless otherwise agreed. For a rental period of more than one day, the following measures must be taken by the renter for overnight storage:
Drain any rainwater before deflating the castle,
Fold towers and walls inward, fold the bouncy castle in two and cover it with the provided tarp. The blowers and extension cords must be brought inside, out of reach of children.

Art. 5
It is mandatory to provide a free space of at least 1.8m around the bouncy castle during use.

Art. 6
In case of power failure or loss of pressure, the castle must be evacuated immediately. One must wait until the motor of the blower(s) has come to a complete stop before restarting it.

Art. 7
It is forbidden to:
Enter the bouncy castle with shoes, jewelry, or other sharp objects;
Consume food, drinks, or chewing gum in the castle;
Climb the outer walls and climb on the walls;
Inflate or deflate the bouncy castle when people are inside;
Jump on the front part, which is only for stepping;
Play with sand or mud in the castle;
Cover the blower(s).

Operation & General Terms and Conditions

RESERVATIONS
Reservations can be made by phone, email, or social media. A reservation is only final when the contract has been signed and sent to us, and the reservation has been confirmed by us.

CANCELLATIONS
In case of bad weather, a reservation can be canceled free of charge until 8 AM on the day of the scheduled delivery. For all other cases of cancellation, a fee of 50% of the total rental amount will be charged to the renter. Kids-Emotions reserves the right to cancel the reservation at any time. This can be, for example, in case of bad weather or a forecast of thunderstorms. Cancellations by Kids-Events can in no case give rise to compensation for the renter.

PRICES AND PAYMENTS
Payment must be made upon delivery. This can be done in cash or via the Bancontact/Payconiq app. For our business customers, we can issue an invoice. If you want an invoice, please request it immediately when making the reservation. The renter agrees to pay the invoice within 14 days of the invoice date. In case of non-payment of the invoice on the due date, a reminder will be sent and a late payment interest of 5% per month will be charged.

PROVISIONS
There must be a minimum passage of 1.5 meters (the width of a standard front door is not always sufficient). Kids-Emotions is not responsible for any damage (stairs, walls, door, furniture, etc.) if there is no or insufficient free passage during placement. A bouncy castle weighs 100 to 200kg, so we ask that at least one adult is always present during loading and placement of the bouncy castle. There must be a 220V (minimum 16A) outlet within 20m of where the bouncy castle is to be set up. If this is not the case, it must be communicated in advance. The ground must be flat and free of sharp or pointed objects.
In case of sand or bare ground, the blower must be placed on cardboard to avoid sucking in sand.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF RAIN AND WIND?
If it starts to rain, keep the bouncy castle inflated.
In case of strong wind or thunderstorms: drain any rainwater, deflate the castle, fold towers and walls inward, fold the bouncy castle in two and cover it with the provided tarp.
Move blowers and extension cords out of the rain.

DAMAGE, LOSS, AND LIABILITY
At the time of placement/delivery, the renter signs the work order. By doing so, the renter automatically agrees to all rental and usage conditions. Upon delivery, all materials (bouncy castles, equipment, etc.) are checked for damage together with the renter. Any damage that occurs afterwards, during the entire rental period, must be reported as soon as possible and is the responsibility of the renter.
The renter must use the bouncy castle "as a good householder." In case of damage, all costs incurred by Kids-Emotions for repairs will be charged to the renter. Repairs are always carried out by a company chosen by Kids-Emotions, the renter has no say in this. In case of theft and/or loss, the renter must compensate both the agreed rental price and the new value of the rented item.

USE OF POPCORN AND COTTON CANDY MACHINES
The machines must be cleaned with warm water and a dash of soap after use. If this is not done, a cleaning fee of €30 will be charged. For the rental of our popcorn and cotton candy machines, we ask for a deposit of €50 per machine. This deposit will be refunded when we pick up the machines, provided that the machines are not damaged and have been cleaned.

Kids-Emotions is a small business subject to the exemption scheme for tax. VAT not applicable. An invoice is available on request.
